Captain Position
We are currently looking for someone to fill a Captain position here at Bar Italia.
Are you currently a Captain or have previous Captain experience? Or are you an experienced server and looking to grow in a new environment?
We are an upscale restaurant located on Madison Avenue coming from legendary New York City restaurateurs with long standing history on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. If you think you could be a good applicant for the position, please submit your resume within.
Qualification requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years experience in a server or captains position.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Point Of Sale systems.
- Must have thorough knowledge of office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as E-mail.
Must possess:
- A friendly disposition
- Leadership qualities
- Engaging personality
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to stand for long hours and potentially lift heavy objects
- Schedule flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverages
- Willingness to learn and work with a team.
